Former Citizen Tv news presenter, Janet Mbugua has come out to announce that she is set to launch a new show dubbed 'my first time'.

Taking to Instagram, Janet shared a video and captioned it, "I’m so excited to announce that very soon, I’ll be releasing what has been a labour of love. A project near and dear to me that I hope will spark the conversations we need to be having and spark the change we need to see as well. Follow @myfirsttimestories on IG for teasers now, and major details in the coming weeks!" 

This comes after she joined Nation Media Group's NTV, co-hosting a show known as Here and Now.

Janet has been one of the well known female media personalities who has contributed to having newscast in a distinct manner, working at Citizen Tv alongside Hussein Mohamed.

In 2009, she was hired as a news anchor, reporter and producer of Pan-African current affairs show, Africa 360 by e.tv in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Apart from news presenting, she also appeared as an outstanding actress in a television series dubbed 'Rush'.

She is the founder and director of Media Avenue Limited, where persons are provided with services such as public speaking, moderating and Emceeing. 

Janet has also been able to reinforce the empowerment of young females with the Inua Dada campaign that is endorsed by Kenya's first lady, Margaret Kenyatta. 

She said that the show which she is set to launch will be able to bring up conversations that people need to be having in order to bring the much-needed change.
