Controversial businessman Jimi Wanjigi is entangled in a Sh400 million tussle over the ownership of a parcel of land in Westlands, Nairobi.
Wanjigi claims to own the one-acre plot in Westlands, which is also being claimed by two Kitengela businessmen operating under a company dubbed Horizon Hills Limited.
Both parties are claiming to have ownership documents for the prime parcel of land. A
Wanjigi has since moved to the police, claiming he has been paying land rates for the property since he acquired it.
He is accusing the two of colluding with Ministry of Lands officials to grab the land located along General Mathenge Road.
Reports on the Standard indicate that the case which was being handled by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers at Parklands Police Station, has since been transferred to the Land Fraud Unit at the DCI headquarters.
He has since furnished the detectives with all the required documents touching on the issue.
However, he has not revealed the persons from whom he bought the piece of land.
