Tusker FC has sent a strong warning to other Kenya Premier League (KPL) teams after making two great signing this season.

They signed George Odhiambo and Humphrey Mieno, making them great contenders this season. 

Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano believes his team has got players that will help him lift this year's title. 

The 11-time Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions's coach believes his team has been strengthened and is ready more than last season. 

“The team is stronger and better than last season, we have players who will make a difference and I am hopeful we will grind out positive results,” said Matano as quoted by Citizen Digital.

“We still have enough time to prepare and by the time the league kicks off we will be ready. Pre-season games are in the offing, we want to try several combinations and strengthen the parts we feel there is need to,” Matano added as quoted by Citizen Digital.

Humphrey Mieno, who sustained an injury in training will return in the team this week. 

He ddnt even travel to Tanzania for their pre-season tour. 

The 2019/20 campaign will kick off with Tusker FC facing off with league defending champions Gor Mahia.
