Speaking on Saturday evening, the ex-Flamingo Ward representative noted the politicians also have an unexplained hatred towards Raila, which informs most of their remarks and actions.

Noor said that it is because of Raila's involvement in the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) that they were initially opposing it, under the notion that he can't stand for anything meaningful.

"These people see everything as about Raila. When they hear about changes they consider it Raila's. (Hawa watu wanaona kila kitu ni kuhusu Raila. Wanaposikia mabadiliko wanaona ni ya Raila)," he said on Radio Sauti Ya Mwananchi.

He lauded the group for finally accepting the changes and whichever route is declared best to implement them, after they.

However, Noor faulted the group, a faction of the ruling Jubilee Party, of wasting too much time engaging the pro-referendum side in exchanges, time that would have been used to read the report.

"Instead of making noise in the media, which isn't the solution, they should have sat down and reached an agreement. But I have seen the DP encouraging people to read the document, he has seen the future. (Hawa badala ya kupiga kelele katika vyombo vya habari, ambayo sio dawa, wangeketi na kuelewana. Lakini naona Ruto amesema watu wasome hii ripoti, naona ameona mbele)," he added.

Initially, Tangatanga claimed that the BBI was a plot by Raila to sponsor changes that will expand the executive to accommodate him and his fellow poll losers in government.

This has been rubbished by President Uhuru Kenyatta, who founded the BBI alongside Raila, and has repeatedly made it clear that its actually about uniting and healing the country.
