The court drama pitting Meru Senator Mithika Linturi and his estranged wife Maryanne Kitany continued apace on Wednesday.
Kitany glowed in the dock as she prepared for the latest episode of what is fast shaping up to be something straight from a Netflix drama.
She wore a beautifully tailored dress that was blue in colour. It was a well-fitting dress with slits in the inside of the arms.
To add spice to her enchanting look, she put on a sparkling white beaded necklace and applied red lipstick.
It was quite a powerful fashion statement.
Unlike in previous appearances in the court where she looked rather dull, on Wednesday, she managed to flash a smile for the cameras.
The former Deputy President William Ruto's chief of staff is locked in a vicious divorce proceeding with the former Igembe South legislator.
She told the court that the two met when she was the chief of staff at the DP. They started a relationship and eventually married according to her version of events.
She also revealed that she was engaged to stop the legislator from taking a motion to Parliament to discuss the conduct of the then Devolution Cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru.
Linturi has strongly rejected her version of events that they were a married couple, saying that Maryanne was just a visitor who overstayed her visit.
