Sauti Sol has responded to a viral video which has been making rounds on social media since Saturday.
A video emerged online showing rapper Khaligraph Jones engaging in what seemed to be a fistfight with the celebrated music group, Sauti Sol.
In a short clip which lasts for only ten seconds, two of Sauti Sol's members, Bien and Savara are seen demanding answers from Khaligraph Jones.
Khaligraph is then seen raising Bien from the ground before the video ends. While the singers peeved the fight to be a joke, the seriousness shown on their faces proved otherwise, making Kenyans believe it was indeed a real fight.
On Sunday, Savara told Radio Jambo that it was during their Friday show at Ngong Racecourse when the fight emerged.
"Personally I was there, the guy is becoming too much, and when he speaks a lot you teach him a lesson. (Mimi mwenyewe nilikuwepo. Aah ni jamaa anatuzoea tu na akiongea sana unamfunza adabu kidogo ili msizoeane), Savara jokinly told Radio Jambo said as captured by Kenyans.co.ke
Khaligraph, on the other hand, had posted the video on his page claiming how he fought the two like their were kids.
"On the street Sauti yesterday, Sauti Sol wanted to start issues, I carried Bien like my kid, Savara was null, I didn’t even Realize he was there until I saw this Video,he (Savara) is thin (Pale Kwa Streets Jana Sauti Sol Wamejaribu Kuleta Kinyoriro, Nilibeba na Bien Kama mtoto wangu, Savara was null, I didn’t even Realize he was there until I saw this Video, jamaa amekonda, The OG shall Be Respected, December Showdown going down, Khali Cartel 3)," he posted.
It was alleged they were creating attention for their upcoming project.
