He reminded the two not to abuse power by applying supply double in different aspects of life. The senator asked the offices of the two to ensure those behind Ruaraka saga are arrested. "So does it mean we will also see arrest on Ruaraka Land Saga ? @DCI_Kenya @ODPP_KE ? @citizentvkenya @ntvkenya ? I sure do hope we are not going to be selective on the war against corruption!" he tweeted.

His remarks came after Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and his Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge were arrested over the allocated billions to Arror and Kimwarer dams in Rift Valley.

Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has, however, said that the DPP is only acting under pressure. He said that the decision of the DPP was influences by government officials.

“Reading the statement of the Director of Public Prosecutions gives a clear picture of a man who was under immense pressure to approve charges against these people,” he said.

Rotich will remain in custody alongside his Principal Secretary Kamau Thugge. The arrest has not augured with Deputy President William Ruto allies.  Led by Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, the leaders have put out pressure on Uhuru to endorse Raila for presidency.
