Here are some of the benefits of using rice water on your skin.

1. It is a skin cleanser

Rice water also contains minerals that tighten the skin's open pores creating space for air to get into the skin. To get soft, supple and radiant skin, dip a cotton pad into the ice water and gently massage it on your skin for two minutes and let it air dry. Rinse with clean water and observe the results.

2. Relieves acne and dermatitis

The antioxidants found in rice water naturally soothe skin inflammation and clear off any blemishes and rashes caused by skin conditions such as eczema. They also speed up the healing process. Using rice water regularly heals acne and calms the redness of an outbreak. 

3. Treats damaged and aging skin

Rice water helps to get rid of the dark age spots and also helps in minimising free radicals that result from the environment and which can damage the skin such as sun rays due to its high vitamin content.
