Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been asked not to give room to leaders who only want to use his name for their political gain and not the people they want to serve.
While attending the burial the father of former Makueni County Assembly majority leader Francis Mutuku, Mzee Mutuku Katila on Saturday, leaders from the region reminded the Ukambani political kingpin not to be a tool of use by those who want his endorsement so that they can come back to politics.
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua’s Chief of Staff Mwengi Mutuse said that a section of leaders from the region have mastered the art of seeking for endorsement from the Former Vice President so that they can remain in the political arena when he is not in the current government.
He asked him not to allow such leaders from spoiling the votes of the region at the Presidential level because of giving room to political rejects.
"You are being used to create a fake wave which does not take Kambas to the national table but hands seats to a few selfish politicians," he told Kalonzo, as quoted by Daily Nation.
Some leaders from the region have been known to ride on his wave to win seats yet Kalonzo has not been in parliament for several years.
Some of the leaders who have rejoined Wiper from Jubilee include former Members of Parliament Kiema Kilonzo, Kisoi Munyao, Philip Kaloki and Joe Mutambu,
