Orange Democratic Movement party Communication Director Philip Etale has hinted at the possibility of Tangatanga brigade being locked out of the Mombasa rally on Saturday.
Tangatanga brigade promised to attend the rally, weeks after casting doubts at the Building Bridges Initiative consultative meetings.
Aisha Jumwa, the leader of the team from the coast, on Friday was temporarily disrupted from speaking to the press by rowdy youths.
Dismissing an alleged confrontation between the team and pro-BBI team, Jumwa said the alleged showdown is just a creation of the media.
"Like I said this is a free event and everyone can attend. Therefore most of these allegations are just being hyped by journalists. Because most of the stories I see about the alleged showdown are just the creation of the media," she said.
Raila Odinga, the ODM leader on Thursday invited Tangatanga brigade to the rally, arguing that nobody should be left behind.
But Etale hinted at the possibility of denying the Tangatanga brigade from addressing the much anticipated Saturday rally.
"Aisha and her team have arrived for the BBI Coast Delegates Forum... they have come to listen; I hope so," he said.
Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday accused the ODM party of running the BBI show, adding that it's a free public event that should be attended by all Kenyans.
