Here are things you should not bring into marriage if you want it to last longer;

1. Never think of changing someone once you get married

There is this type of people who struggle to change their partners once they get married. Many marriages have failed due to this.

If you know and believe that you can't live with your partner because of their flaws then the best thing to do is to avoid getting married to them.

For a successful marriage, you should focus on making things flow free and smooth and not trying to change each other.

2. Bringing in past relationships

Many people are fond of this, not knowing how much damage it can cause to the marriage. This usually includes comparing your spouse with your ex or staying close to your ex.

The whole idea of involving people from your past relationships into your present marriage is deadly to the marriage especially when your spouse realizes.

You must be careful with the past especially during arguments because it has the ability to disintegrate your marriage.

3. Withholding intimacy

Once you get married, getting intimate with your partner is a must. Unlike before marriage when you can choose to deny your partner sex, with marriage that is absolutely wrong.

Some partners go to an extent of using sex as a weapon to get what they want from the other not knowing this can cause division and resentment. I mean using sex as a weapon is some form of manipulation and is so wrong.

The life of your marriage depends on how the two of you handle yourselves and your issues.
