Speaking in Mbiuni on Tuesday, Musau said that this will ensure security is enhanced in the region and the crime rate goes down.

"Security is an essential element in any economy. The success of all other sectors solely relies on security. The whole Sub-County has only one police station in Masai, to enhance security. Each ward will have a fully-fledged police station," said Musau.

Musau disclosed that deployment of officers has already been effected in some wards awaiting infrastructural work.

He disclosed that he will use the National Government Constituency Development Funds for the construction of these police stations.

"We have enough officers, what's remaining is the stations so that everything falls into place," he said.

He urged residents to work closely with law enforcers to curb crime stating that everyone should be involved in ending crime.

The lawmaker decried increased drug circulation in schools urging the authorities to take action.

Musau spoke as he inspected the ongoing upgrading of the Mbiuni police post.
