These included the directive to close down all drinking and social joints on Saturday and Sunday, which he said would ensure that all Kenyans are home for the head count.

Weda, who is lso a lawyer, has taken issue with this, and is now accusing the CS of allowing power to get into his head, to an extent that he is now making irrational decisions.

He on Wednesday accused the CS of dramatizing the issue, noting that the bar closure order must have had some negative impact on the economy.

"I think power is getting into his head. You don't have to create drama. He didn't have to close bars, instead, if people are in the bar, let them be counted there. Doesn't he see the amount of tax EABL (East Africa Breweries Limited) is paying to the National Treasury?" he posed.

The former SONY Sugar Board Chair who was part of the tribunal investigating the conduct of Supreme Court Judge Jackton Ojwang spoke on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation.

He enlisted Matiangi among the people making it hard for President Uhuru Kenyatta to leave a legacy, thanks to their hilarious decisions.

He stressed on the need for Uhuru to instil some sanity into his cabinet by firing some of the people involved in the census preparations.

"Uhuru should fire people, this is a failure," he added.
