Speaking on Wednesday during an interview with Citizen Radio, Dena said that Uhuru's greatest desire is seeing Kenya united.

She alluded that the commander-in-chief has been pushing for development in all parts of the country.

The remarks come after President Kenyatta extended the tenure of the BBI team. The decision has attracted mixed reactions from different quarters.

"President Kenyatta's push for BBI is for the national good. The aim is to see that every Kenyan lives in harmony and can participate in nation-building. The President is advocating for unity that promotes development in all corners of the country," she said.

Dena further said that the President is out to empower Kenyans through different incentives. She highlighted that the reduction of the cost of power is among the ways the President intends to use to improve the lives of local manufacturers in various sectors.

"There have been various incentives by the Government directed at the manufacturing sector to reduce the cost of doing business. Among them is the reduction in the cost of power as well as a smoother process in the registration of new businesses," she said.
