Getting married means you have grown mature enough to be with someone else in your life.
However, there are several things you need to let go before taking this huge step.
1. Lying
Anyone who lies is considered immature enough to realise that telling the truth is actually much better. You either learn to tell the truth or stay single your entire life.
2. Laziness
Marriage does not condone laziness. You can't show your partner full appreciation by sitting around and watching them do everything. Marriage will require you to support each other.
3. Ego
Before you get married to someone, you need to let go of your ego and pride. The last person you should show them to is your spouse. Ego and pride only kill marriages.
4. Selfishness
Once you get married, you become two-in-one meaning anything you do, you must have your spouse in mind. Do not make some decisions without their input.
5. Trying to make your partner jealous
Do not try to make your partner jealous so that you can test how much they love you. Marriage means building a secure base for both of you, therefore, you won't need to make them jealous once you get married.
