The party has fronted Imran Okoth for the November 7 mini poll, in a race that will also see among others, Jubilee Party's McDonald Mariga compete to fill the vacant slot.

Aladwa, the ODM Chair for Nairobi County, says that the outcome of the by-election is a done deal, judging by the work the party has done on the ground in campaigns.

"ODM is the party, an internally known party. We are waiting to take the Kibra seat on seventh (Chama ni ODM, Chama inayotambulika dunia nzima. Tarehe saba kiti ya Kibra tunangoja kuchukua)," he said on Radio Jambo, Saturday.

He rubbished Jubilee, ODM's main rival in the race, as a shaking side which cannot offer any competition to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led bloc.

The former city mayor termed the Jubilee challenge in Kibra as fake.

"This other one is shaking, the Jubilee there is a fake Jubilee (Hii ingine inyumbayuba, ile Jubilee iko pale ni Jubilee fake)," he added.

Also in the race are Ford Kenya's Khamisi Butichi and Eliud Owalo of the Amani National Congress (ANC), after the death of Ken Okoth, who left the seat vacant.
