A top Orange Democratic Movement party official has sensationally claimed that some people have been holding night meetings to discuss about him.
Philip Etale, the ODM party Director of Communication and a close ally of Raila Odinga, did not however, elaborate more on the nature of the meetings and the people behind it.
His allegations could also hint infighting within the Orange Democratic Movement party, which is synonymous among top officials within Raila's team.
In his tweet, Etale claimed that the team has been holding night meetings, adding that he's aware of their intensions and motivation. He said the plans shall flop.
"All meetings including night meetings being held by people just to discuss Philip Akunda Etale, I know them. I know all the intentions. They have tried severally but failed. I say, the God I pray and serve is real. Continue," he said.
His allegations comes barely a month after Director of public strategy and political affairs Wafula Buke, a self proclaimed leftist, was sacked under unclear circumstances.
Mr Buke blamed ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong'wen, Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and NEB chair Senator Judith Pareno over his woes.
"Friends and enemies, I was sacked yesterday as Director for Political Affairs and Strategy of ODM. Mr Edwin Sifuna, Mr Oduor Ongwen and Ms Pareno, since you can't pick my calls, I hereby confirm receiving your letter.
"I ruffled snakes and have received my feedback. I disagree with you so I will see what to do about that. I just lost income but the struggle for a better ODM is for us all. The funeral for losing a job continues. No burial arrangements," wrote Mr Buke.
