Jubilee allied MP Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) has vowed to lodge a case at The Hague in the Netherlands against ODM over Kibra poll; chaos.
The MP has expressed discomfort with some of the remarks and actions that the party politicians engaged in during the Kibra campaigns and elections.
He now says that he has since gathered some evidence against the targeted politicians, and will be attaching it to his court papers, warning that such actions could result in bigger problems in future elections and must be tamed.
"I am going to the Hague so that they can prepare a case for those who caused violence in Kibra. I have CD evidence and I am looking into the speeches that were made (Am going to the Hague ili waanze kuandaa kesi kwa wale walileta violence pale Kibra. Niko na CD na naangalia zile speeches zilifanywa pale)," he said.
The lawmaker made the remarks on Taach FM on Tuesday morning, where he claimed that though ODM won the race, it engaged in alarming activities, including beating up politicians allied to the rival Jubilee Party side.
He called upon the Jubilee side to remain calm and not engage ODM in exchanges, saying that this would sabotage the case.
The parliamentarian also called for calm among those who feel that their elected leaders were assaulted, saying that the law will be used against them.
"Am telling our people not to respond, let them keep peace (Naambia watu wetu wasijibu hata kidogo, wadumishe amani)," he added.
The MP has personally taken issue with some of the campaign statements that were made by ODM, including branding Kibra their bedroom, which he says is incitive.
He had also faulted the party for likening other candidates to bedbugs and threatening to crush them, which according to him amounts to crushing fellow Kenyans.
