Differences between the camps led by Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto continues to escalate, amid ongoing BBI rallies.
Already, the team allied to Ruto has announced intentions to join Raila's team in the ongoing BBI report campaigns.
However, Raila's aide Silas Jakakimba has warned that the team either joins the campaigns of cancels out the planned parallel rallies.
"There is nothing like 'complementary rallies' for BBI. If @kipmurkomen & Tanga Tanga brigade have decided to come on board, their only option is to toe the line and constructively align to the scheduled BBI rallies as organized by President Kenyatta & @RailaOdinga," he said.
Led by Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, the Tangatanga brigade insisted that they will release a schedule for the rallies in coming days.
“After consultation as leaders, we have decided [that] in order to pursue the original spirit of the BBI irrespective of our concerns against the use of public resources in a process that has been blessed with full nationwide consensus, we will participate and where necessary take charge of these public rallies,” Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen announced.
Even before they start the parallel rallies, the team has decided to join the Raila's team for the Mombasa rallies.
