Sarah Wairimu, the wife of slain Dutch business tycoon Tob Cohen, has arrived at the Chiromo Mortuary to witness the postmortem on her husband.
This comes after she asked to be allowed to be present to witness the procedure that could very well determine her fate.
She arrived while flanked with security officers.
Wairimu is the prime suspect in the alleged murder of Tob Cohen, who was found lifeless in an underground storage with hands tied behind his back after missing for about 40 days.
Renowned criminal lawyer Cliff Ombetta, who is offering legal representation for the Cohen family, raised no objections to Sarah being allowed to witness the postmortem.
Mr Ombeta said that allowing her would prevent any technical issues in the ongoing murder case.
Government pathologist Johansen Oduor will be conducting the procedure having been forced to break his leave.
Sarah Wairimu's lawyer Philip Murgor had rejected the pathologist that had been initially offered by the government, saying that he was at the scene when the body was retrieved hence prone to giving a compromised view.
Information gleaned from the postmortem will answer questions of how the slain business magnate met his death and will be used in the murder case.
Cohen's wife has protested her innocence accusing the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of planting evidence at their home.
Judge Lesiit who is presiding over the case barred the prosecution from addressing the media on the case and also barred the media from publishing investigative details.
