Mr Ruto met Odinga recently and is currently one of the proponents of Building Bridges Initiative, which is set to issue a report that could lead to constitutional changes.

But according to Sudi, the two leaders are advocating for evictions of people from Mau Forest, a plot which he says will eventually work against DP Ruto.

"I know @IsaacRutoGov have joined hands together with @RailaOdinga to evict people from Mau Forest with the aim of antagonizing people of Rift Valley against William Ruto," he said in a tweet.

But on the contrary, the DP is among top government officials who have been pushing for evictions from Mau Forest as part of environmental conservation.

The government is set to kick out thousands of people from the water catchment area, a move that has irked Rift Valley leaders, both in government and opposition.

In an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday however, Isaac Ruto, who has been opposing evictions, said he will President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto over the evictions.

"DP Ruto is an old friend. We have been to Parliament together. We intent to see the DP, President on the issue of Mau in the coming weeks," he said.

While Ruto and KANU leader Gideon Moi have since supported evictions, they want the government to compensate those with genuine title deeds.
