Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has been admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital.

The lawmaker disclosed that she was taken to the facility on Monday morning after she felt weak.

She revealed that she is set to under surgical procedure after her spinal cord weakened. She lamented that she has been undergoing too much pain in the recent past.

She posted a video of herself and captioned: "Admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital for a Medial Branch Block procedure plus Paraspinal L3 to S1 under the care of Dr Thikra Shariff and Mr Livingstone Olunya."

In a video posted, she said that she was finding it hard to conduct some simple tasks such as walking from one place to another. She lamented that she cannot even go to the gym because of the recent condition, adding that she is hopeful all will be well.

"I miss gyming, I have not been able to exercise. I can't walk for more than half an hour. I can't sleep at night and that's why I look exhausted. Even with the painkillers, I can't sleep," she stated in part. 

Kenyans from different walks of life have wished her well after she was admitted.
