Nominated Senator Rose Nyamunga has lashed out at her critics who have been questioning her performance during her tenure as the Kisumu Woman Representative.
Nyamunga who is on office thanks to the Orange Democratic (ODM) was area women MP from 2013 and 2017, before she was unseated by the incumbent Rosah Buyu in the 2017 polls.
She on Saturday lashed out at her critics, terming them idle minds who should be given a deaf ear, adding that she will personally lead the way in ignoring them.
"Those who keep saying that Nyamunga did nothing while she was woman MP for Kisumu county should realize that I will never listen to them and they can continue being idle," she said on her Facebook page.
Nyamunga, a cerified lawyer, said that she has been doing everything within er means to bring about change to her society, which she will keep doing despite the attacks and criticism.
Nyamunga added that she will as well carry out her roles as a lawmaker and an oversight body both for her Kisumu people and the nation at large.
"I will continue to do everything within my means to change lives of out people. Besides, I will do my job which includes oversight, legislation and representation," she added.
