The song had many controversies before its release, where Willy Paul claimed that someone stole the song from him and tried to change it to look different.

However, he assured his fans that he would not let it go and he finally dropped the original version of it.

“No one steals from POZZE. Today at exactly 4 pm, the #CHUCHUMA hit that was stolen from me will be live on YouTube and all other digital platforms. I am asking all my loyal fans to stand with during this moment of trial. A thousand comments from my loyal fans???” Wrote Willy Paul on Wednesday.

In the song, Willy Paul disses Tanzanian artist, Rayvanny, claiming that he is the one who stole his song. Earlier on, it was reported that Willy Paul was to release a collabo with Rayvanny which seemed to have failed.

However, before their fall out, both artistes released a hit song by titled 'MMMMH.'
