Muranga Woman Representative Sabina Chege revisited the Wazir Chacha's controversy when she graced the Dr Kingori Show on Friday.
Addressing the controversy, the Woman Rep reiterated her position that Wazir Chacha was a criminal in the business of conning women leaders.
She said that those who shared a photo of herself with Wazir Chacha had photoshopped it with the intention of bringing her down.
On whether she was controversial, the Muranga Woman Rep said she was not, only that she attracted a lot of attention for being in the limelight.
"What is seen as controversy, even in the case of Wazir Chacha, was very clear, a conman cons people, women members of parliament goes to the DCI and records statements and then he starts conning them with my name but when I complained, there are people who wanted to bring me down, they started saying they had affairs but when I challenged for them to show anything they only did a photoshop, " Sabina Chege said.
The female legislator trended for days after it emerged that a number that had been used to solicit money from MPs had been registered with her name.
Sabina hailed the fact that she came through that period in her life as a testament to the strength of women.
She said that women were facing an array of challenges and encouraged them to be strong when faced with adversity.
