Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi on Thursday staged a 'kidnapping' of bongo star Diamond Platnumz's girlfriend Tanasha Donna in a bid to send a message to Tanzania's national football team Taifa Stars.
In the video, which of course is a joke, Tanasha Donna can be seen seated on a chair with her head covered and her hands tied behind her back.
Eric Omondi, who is wearing a mask, walks in carrying a bottle of whiskey, puts it down and uncovers Tanasha Donna who screams out to Diamond for help.
"Don't try me😠😠😠 A message to DIAMOND PLATNUMZ and TANZANIA," Omondi captioned the video.
He goes ahead to warn Diamond that if his team, Taifa Stars, which will be playing against Harambee Stars during their African Cup of Nations (Afcon) match tonight attempts to score, then he will never see his girlfriend again.
"Diamond...if you ever want to see your woman again, call Taifa Stars, call the coach (pigia Taifa Stars, pigia coach). If I see them anywhere near the Harambee Star's goal post (Nikiwaona anywhere karibu na lango la Harambee Stars), you will never see her," he said.
Kenya will be facing Tanzania in their second match of the Afcon competitions after suffering a 2-0 defeat against Algeria in their opening match.
A win today will keep their hope of qualifying for the round of 16 alive.
