On Monday Facebook broke into accolades to Kisii Governor James Ongwae who rolled out the Universal Health Care and unveiled the ongoing construction of stand-alone Mother-Child Hospital (MCH)and the Doctors Plaza.
Residents took it into his Facebook Page to pour Congratulatory messages with some advising him to closely focus on Service delivery from Hospital staff far from providing good facilities.
Stellah Mwende a resident said the devolution of the health sector was anticipated to be a successful move which would see health services availed to people efficiently and effectively.
"I know you are a serious governor Who will strive to make UHC attainable for the people of the county of Kisii. Congratulations," Commented Maurice Odhiambo.
Another Alloys Moriasi appreciated Governors administration for ensuring locals get proper healthcare to curb unnecessary deaths caused by poor medical services at health facilities.
Ongwae, since he took power in 2013, has always said he is committed at first improving the health sector which is the back-born of any society.
"My legacy is to ensure that my people get the best medical services. I will be a happy Governor. the stand-alone Mother-Child Hospital (MCH)and the Doctors Plaza is a great milestone that will be achieved by my Government in the next few days," Ongwae told the Media On Monday at Kisii teaching and referral Hospital.
