Some foods have been reported to cause the condition like eating canned foods that contain purines and heavy consumption of alcoholic drinks

Here are some ways of lowering excess uric acid in your bloodstream as elucidated by  Stacy Sampson, DO, a physician

1. Avoid drugs that raise uric level

Taking some drugs without a doctor's consent can be very risky. Drug like those of heart failure, stroke and low dose aspirin are believed to cause this condition. Never prescribe yourself such drugs. 

If you need to lower your uric level, then stop using those drugs or see a medic who will advise you accordingly. 

 2. Eat more low purine foods

Embracing foods with low purine is another way to lower excess uric acid. In this case, the foods include fat-free dairy products, peanut butter, most fruits and vegetables, potatoes and bread. 

3. Avoid alcohol and sugary drink. 

Alcohol has a high purine content that forms uric acid when broken down in the body. On the hand, sugary drinks like juice can also cause more harm than good. To make the story short, just avoid them for betterment

 4. Limit purine rich foods

There are number of them that you need to take in moderation. Among the foods include sardines, high fat foods, sugary foods, organ meats, alcoholic beverages and dairy products.
