2. Rayan hotel and restaurant

Located along Market Lane Koinange street, this restaurant is a gem because the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the portions are large.

For Sh300 you can get a plate of pilau, a side dish of beef, veggies and soda.

3. Big Knife

If you're craving something meaty but at a pocket friendly price, this is the place to go.

Located along Muindi Mbingu street opposite Nakumatt Lifestyle, this place is relatively cheap because it has student menus; probably because it's located near the University of Nairobi.

For Sh350, you can score a mouthwatering plate of shawarma or chicken or beef roll with soda and chips.

4. Peach restaurant

Located at Commerce house along Moi avenue, this restaurant will give you value for your money. It offers great food and ambience making your dining experience great.

For instance, with Sh300 bob you can score a plate of fish and 'ugali'.

5. Cafe deli

With three branches around the CBD, this restaurant is a real competitor in terms of the service and food quality, it will leave you yearning for more.

The ambience is also awesome, making it a nice spot to catch up with friends or family members.

With Sh300 onwards, you can get a decent fulfilling meal such as chapati, 'ndengu' and some side veggies.
