Police officers in Kisii County have arrested four suspects inked to the brutal killing of two minors in Omobondo village, Kenyenya.
Kisii County Police Commander, Martin Kibet confirmed the arrest of the four suspects identified as Timothy Mainga (27), Gilbert Musa (20) Evans Nyabuto aged (16) and the fourth only identified as David.
Kibet said the suspects will be arraigned in court once the probe is complete following the brutal murder of the two minors.
"The four suspects were nabbed by police from their respective homes by police officers from Kenyenya police station after they were linked to the murder of the kids. The suspects previously worked at the home of the deceased children," stated Kibet as reported by Egesa FM.
Kibet added that postmortem on the bodies of the children will be done on Friday at Hema Hospital morgue where their bodies were taken for preservation.
The police boss appealed to members of the public to be calm and patients to give police officers time to investigate the motive behind the brutal killing of the kids who were raped before being.
"Parents should ensure the safety of their children when the kids are left at home to avoid similar incidents from occurring," added Kibet.
