Taking to her Instagram account on Monday, Muthengi said that quitting her job was a tough decision she had to make but her faith in God saw her through.

She stated that when she was leaving the station, she did not know her next move since she had not received any job offers at that time.

"Hey November! Today marks one year since I left my last job. It was a very difficult decision and I had no idea where I was headed afterwards. I won't lie I have had some tough days yet God has guided me to the place I am now," wrote Muthengi.

The former 10 over 10 co-host said that despite going through a difficult time she is doing much better.

"Today I'm happy, I am content and I know that I am loved. I'm so thankful for the people who have stuck by me and encouraged me along the way. God bless," she added.

Joey returned to Capital FM in June where she co-hosts ‘The Jam’ show alongside Martin Kariuki.
