Armed police and KPLC officers raided a home in Red Hill Area, Kiambaa Sub-County, after they were tipped off by members of the public and recovered the transformers and other materials worth millions hidden in a hole.

Karuri OCPD Shicha Lani led the effort to dig up the machines buried in a backyard of the home.

Police suspect the properties have been vandalised from the power lines in the area. The owner of the Home has not yet been identified but the police has launched the investigations.

"We didn’t found the owner but the my police officers are hunting for him,” said Lani on Wednesday. He thanked the public for sharing the information and encouraged them to keep on doing the same so as to make Kiambu County safe.
