Vocal Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho had fulfilled his pledge to support an embattled boy who reported for admission in Kanga with a box and only two bar soaps.
On Friday the County boss fulfilled his pledge when he presented Ksh253, 000, to Milele Fm presenter Jalang'o through a renown artist Susumila.
Jalango confirmed and thanked the governor for supporting the needy bright student, Lewis Otieno.
“Governor, we say thank you for helping Otieno. The package you have sent through Susumila, has reached us,” said the popular Radio Presenter Jalango.
On his part Susumila while on the air in Milele Fm morning show, urged Kenyans to come up and support all the needy bright students in the country like Otieno.
Joho joins many willing Kenyans to help the embattled boy achieve his dreams in Kanga High School.
The Milele Fm presenter Jalango also promised to sponsor the boy up to form four and also a complete shopping list for term one.
The boy's mother said she could not raise anything to send her sob to school.
"I do not have any money to pay for his school uniform and pay his fees or any other necessity,” the mother said.
Among well-wishers is a Kenyan supermarket who offered the boy a full shopping for a whole term
