Speaking earlier in the week, the controversial MP claimed that his life is threatened and that he is on the radar, thanks to his bad terms with Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho.

Speaking on Friday, Noor faulted the remarks, saying that they were not backed by any proof, especially from a man who has also declared unwillingness to report the matter.

He, therefore, stressed on the need for the MP to be summoned by the police so that he can explain his allegation, warning that such allegations might cause political problems.

"Ni makosa makubwa kusema eti anataka kuuawa bila uchunguzi wowote. Awe summoned na Kamishna wa polisi aeleze alipopata zile taarifa," he said.

This translates to: " Its very wring to allege that your life is in danger without conducting investigations. He should be summoned by the police commissioner to reveal more."

Noor made the remarks during an interview on Radio Sauti Ya Mwananchi's Nyuma Ya Pazia show on Friday night.

He added that Nyoro's fears appear baseless and could be just another political stunt he intends to use to acquire mileage and political sympathy ahead of the 2022 polls.

He stressed on the need for the MP to apologize to Kenyans, warning that similar claims might cause tension among his supporters, disrupting calm, under the notion that he is being targeted.

"Maneno kama yale yakiendelea kusemwa si ajabu uanze kuona wafuasi wake wakitokeza barabarani. Naona matamshi yale hayana ukweli wowote na ni vyema aombe wananchi msamaha," he added.

This translates to: "If such remarks are made then we might begin seeing his supporters coming out to demonstrate. I think they are falseful and he needs to apologize to Kenyans."

Nyoro's tribulations began after annexhange with nominated MP Maina Kamanda at a church in Kiharu on Sunday, before his Monday arrest.

He has blamed his woes on his links with Deputy President William Ruto, while Kibicho has remained silent on the allegations being leveled against him.

Nyoro and his Kandara counterpart Alice Wahome have claims that they have been receiving threats for supporting the DP.
