The BBI report is expected to be handed over to President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday next week.

However, Murkomen on Friday asked the former Prime Minister to apologise over the violence witnessed in the November 7 Kibra parliamentary by-election.

"Before receiving the BBI report on Tuesday, I am hoping the former PM will have issued a public apology for presiding over and/or acquiescing in the Kibra violence. Failure to do so will make BBI another exercise founded on hypocrisy. He must lead by example not mere lip service," Murkomen tweeted.

In a rejoinder, Etale asked the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator to drop his demands.

"Dear Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen, what is Raila Odinga apologizing for? Or should we now begin demanding apologies for the many crimes against humanity committed by your man and his people (you included)?" tweeted Etale.

Etale further asked the vocal senator to stop dragging the ODM boss to the BBI debate since it was not all about him.

"BBI is not about Raila Amolo Odinga. It is not about Kibra. Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen find something reasonable to talk about. Wait for the report before you make noise," he fired back.
