Popular city lawyer and businessman Karanja Kabage is dead.
Preliminary reports indicate that he died on Friday while driving to his home in Karen, Nairobi.
His family and friends confirmed his death. Kabage passed on at the age of 70.
Kenyans from different walks of life have started to send their messages of condolence to the family of the deceased.
In his condolence message, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) communication director Philip Etale said that Kabage’s death is a big blow to the nation. He said that he had an immense contribution to the legal field and he will surely be missed.
“Waking up to shocking news of the death of one of the greatest brains in the country. A man whose grasp of matters legal, economics and general current affairs is immeasurable. RIP Karanja Kabage,” wrote Etale.
