Safaricom came out on Thursday morning to apologize after sending out a lot of unnecessary tweets.

In a tweet, the giant telecommunication providers apologized to their customers for a series of a tweet sent. 

"Good morning. We apologize for the series of tweets that went out from our official accounts last night. We had a system glitch that has since been rectified. Thank you," said Safaricom.

Safaricom indicated that they had a system problem from their end. 

However, this is not the first time the company has had a system failure. Early this week, their system had a glitch that resulted in users purchases free data bundles under the platinum plan data. 

Following their announcement that they had another system malfunction on Wednesday night, Kenyans have now come out giving varied views.
