Deputy President William Ruto has sent his condolence message to the family of the late Samburu Deputy Governor Julius Leseeto's wife following her death, which happened on Friday night while receiving treatment in Nairobi Hospital.
DP Ruto hoped that the Lord grant Samburu Deputy Governor Julius Leseeto with grace and comfort during this hard moment of him losing the pillar of his home.
"My heartfelt condolences to Samburu Deputy Governor Julius Leseeto on the loss of your wife. You have lost the pillar of your home and community, a source of love, strength and happiness. May the Lord grant you the grace and comfort to bear this grief." DP Ruto wrote
Speaking with Nation on Saturday, Deputy Governor Julius said that his wife died from a lung problem, something that was previously thought to be pneumonia.
He revealed that the late Ms Leseeto was taken to ICU and stayed for about 16 days before she passed away.
“She had been battling with what was thought to be pneumonia but it was later discovered to be a connective lung tissue problem. She had been in the ICU for about 16 days,” Deputy Julius said on Saturday.
The late Ms Leseeto died at around 9.30 pm. on Friday.
