More leaders from the Kisii region, have declared to support BBI led by the Kisii County Boss James Ongwae.

The report that was released a few days ago has been seen to be of controversy with some legislators who are backing it while others are saying that it means no good to the Kenyan people.

However, a section of leaders from Kisii have backed up the BBI report saying it is a good deal for Kenyans. Speaking at Gusii Stadium grounds on Sunday at a function to commemorate the World AIDS day, Ongwae said that the Kisii region is in support of the BBI report.

"Please pass a message to his Excellency the president and tell him that as people from Kisii, we embrace BBI. We have supported him and we will continue supporting him. In this county he should not have even the slightest worry about his aspirations," Ongwae said while addressing HE Margret Kenyatta who graced the occasion.

Kisii County Woman representative Janet Ong'era also was at the meeting and said that peace had engulfed in the country. She also asked the First lady Margret Kenyatta to pass a message to of support to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Tell our president 'thank you' for coordinating together with Hon. Raila Odinga. We have seen peace. Tell him also that we love him so much and in BBI we will hold his hand," MP Ong'era said.

West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi, equally on Sunday said that he has read the BBI report and it is a good deal. He asked the residents to read it as it needs to be polished a little to pass through.

"The BBI report was released. I am urging our people to go through it. I'll avail copied so that you can read on your own and give views. I have read the report and its good only some few areas need to be polished so that we can pish it to pas," Kemosi said.
