That is what one would describe the now-defunct music group, Camp Mulla which was even nominated for the BET awards in the US. While everyone went their own ways, Miss Karun the vocalist for the group who provided the much-needed RNB vibe to the group has a reason to smile for her latest accomplishment.

She has been listed as one of the Top 30 Under 30 Creatives in Africa by the prestigious Forbes magazine joining a list that comprises some of the best entertainers across the African continent.

Some of the superstars who have had the honour to grace the current and previous lists include Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid to name but a few.

This is just a reflection of Miss Karun musical talent which has seen her brush shoulders with some of the most talented musical acts from all over the world. She is now part of a musical collective known as the Cosmic Homies which also has one of her former bandmates as a member.

Miss Karun has been able to perform on various platforms such as the Madaraka Festival which was in Seattle,  SXSW 2015 in Austin Texas, and closer home, the Blankets and Wine as well as the Africa Nouveau Festival.

This has seen her share her music to various audiences across the world. After the group split, she went on to pursue her education in the elite Berkeley Collge in the US.

To crown her achievements, she is also a mother and at the tender age of 24, her musical star is bound to shine even more.
