Orange Democratic Movement (ODM)'s Director of Communications Philip Etale has said that Deputy President William Ruto stands no chance of ascending to power.
In a Facebook post, Etale said that COTU boss Francis Atwoli's prophecy that Ruto will not be President of this nation will come to pass. He said that Atwoli has foreseen many things that came true. He recalled how Atwoli talked about the ejection of Former Sport's Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa and ODM win in Kibra
"Our Luhya Elder Francis Atwoli is one man who doesn’t mince his words. During the funeral of Hon. Ayub Savula’s daughter in Lugari early this year, Papa Atwoli declared that Sports CS Mr. Rashid Echesa would not last another three months in office, true to his word, he was relieved of his role in government in March.
"He also prophesied Imran’s resounding victory on JKL show on Citizen Tv, he won with a big margin. He prophesied that DP William Ruto will NEVER be the President of Kenya, and by the look of things, Atwoli’s word is coming to pass. Viva Papa Atwoli."
The remarks come after DP Ruto asked ODM Leader Raila Amolo Odinga to ask his camp to stop being violent during the campaigns and elections.
