Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has hit out at a section of politicians decrying being teargassed by police at Kilimani on Friday evening.
Passaris was responding to a tweet by Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro who tweeted: "They have teargassed us ruthlessly and smashed some of our vehicles inside Kilimani Police Station as we tried to have them obey a court order on Hon Moses Kuria's release. Members of the press were not spared either."
Passaris, however, hit out at the lawmakers saying it that two wrongs never make a right.
"Now my brother you know how we felt in 2017. Two wrongs never make a right. But when you allow the law to be broken and used against others, as you are all guilty of doing, why are you surprised when it hits home?" she posed.
Kuria was arrested on Friday morning for allegedly assaulting Joyce Wanja on December 8 at Royal Media Services precincts. He was granted Sh50,000 anticipatory bail.
