Kilimani Mums and Dads are arguably some of the largest Facebook groups that bring together different groups of people talking about lifestyle issues. However, if you keenly observe you will realize that there are people with the following characters;
“English enemies”: The group has a very large number of people who seriously ‘abuse’ English language. Their messages are filled with spelling mistakes. It gets annoying when you try to get a sense from their messages in vain. They write English in their mother tongue, I don’t know.
Contact beggars: This group also has got another lot of people whom I called “contact beggars” because they are always nagging people in their inbox looking for new love. They will keep on moving from one DM to another asking for a phone number, in the hope that they will find a relationship. Just stop because there is none.
“Doctor love”: This is another common group; on the platform, they have solutions to all love problems that people are going through. When they talk, one can think that they are the “heart surgeons” in the case of heartbreaks. If you keenly follow up, you will realize that these are the people who have terribly failed in marriage, they are hopeless but they offer advice anyway.
Idlers: This group has common people that are always online who comment and like every post. They are always there to bring up issues and turn others’ posts down. Listen, no one will get impressed just because you are ever present. In fact, people know that you are jobless and probably you are the biggest gambler for airtime.
