Four Gusii MPs have been captured in Speaker Justin Muturi's list of shame as Kenyans continue to demand for more legislation, oversight and proper representations.
Last week, Muturi accused tens of MPs of allegedly snubbing debates when it matters only to show up in funerals where they quote Bills which have never been brought to the floor of the house.
Also, the speaker lamented that most MPs snub crucial Third Reading stage of bills thus making transaction of business difficult in the assembly.
And in Gusii, at least four MPs were named among the 49 legislators who have never spoken in parliament, nine months into their tenure.
From Nyamira, MPs Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango), Shdrack Mose (Kitutu Masaba) and Jerusha Momanyi (Nyamira County) were in the black book of Muturi.
Reportedly, the MPs under question are said to be vocal when it comes to burials and public rallies across the country.
Despite its big size, only Alfa Miruka of Bomachoge Chache has reportedly never spoken in parliament since September last year.
