Dating a workaholic is not easy. Workaholics value their career than anything else. He or she will always be busy even when you need assistance. However, this does not mean that they do not love. There are many men and women out there dating workaholics. You must understand what you are about to get yourself into before entering any relationship. Here are harsh realities of dating a workaholic
1. All plans are subject to rescheduling
A day of a workaholic is not easy to predict. If you have any plans with someone who is ever working then prepare for anything. This group of people will always have something they are doing even if you do not see. He or she will always tell you to wait until he or she gets free time. Who wants to date a man or woman who gets no time to share with you anything? Most of these relationships come to a tragic end because the workaholic is deep into his job.
2. At times you will feel no one cares about you
Everyone wants someone who cares about him or her. There are times when the workaholic will be too busy until you feel no one cares about your well-being. Some workaholics will rather go to work than visit a sick person. He or she will leave doctors to take care of your even when your condition seems to deteriorate.
3. Do not expect texts to be replied on time
A workaholic will take minutes or even hours before replying your text messages. You will need to learn to cope up with these habits if you want the relationship to last. Persons who do not feel good when you take long to reply their texts or pick their calls cannot afford to date workaholics.
4. The relationship matters less
A workaholic values his or her work than anything else. She or he will complete the task at hand before dealing with any other situation that presents itself. If you want someone who will not put anything before the relationship then workaholics are not the best.
