Four people perished in a road crash in South Horr town, Samburu North on Tuesday morning.
According to a survivor, Nethy Lesasa, the accident occurred after a driver lost control of the car they were travelling in from Baragoi town to South Horr.
"Our driver died on the spot due to brake failure," she said.
Four others sustained injuries and rushed to Samburu County Referral Hospital.
A doctor at the facility, Boniface Atandi, said John Lesasi aged 43 suffered hip dislocation and compound bone fractures and another victim Ali Mohammed, aged 63, suffered a dislocation in his left pelvic joint and have been flown to Kenyatta National Hospital for special treatment.
Th deceased bodies were taken to the Samburu hospital morgue.
