Mobile phones in the world of today have become part and parcel of our lives. They have made communication easy and nobody wishes to live a life without them. However, there are a number of mistakes we make with our phones;
Using them while they charge
Using your phone as it charges may seem harmless, however, it is dangerous to you and the phone itself because its battery heats up as you charge and this may cause explosions. The glass on the screen may also contain electric sparks that may damage your skin while you use it as it charges.
Overcharging or undercharging
some people don't wait for their phones to completely drain so that they can charge. It is always advised that you leave your battery to drain fully before charging, however, people charge them even when the battery isn't drained. Others also let their phones plugged in to charge overnight leading to overcharging. This is harmful to the battery.
Placing phones under the pillow, next to you or in your pockets as you sleep
Phones have been discovered to release rays that are dangerous to human. For this reason, sleeping with your phone next to your face or under the pillow is dangerous. Keep it away from you while you sleep.
Downloading apps from virus-prone sources
Some people download apps or contents from untrustworthy sites that may introduce viruses into your device. You are advised to download apps from the authorized stores with which the phone comes equipped.
