1. Stress
Studies have revealed that stress can cause a delay in periods. Many ladies indulge themselves into thinking a lot hence leading to stress. This is due to loneliness. All this leads to late periods whereby the hormones in the body causes the imbalance.
2. Low body weight
Lack of eating enough leads to low body weight. During menstruation period a lady is expected to eat healthy foods due to the loss of blood in the body. Lack of eating leads to the experience of late periods. It changes the body functioning and also the experience of hormone imbalance
3. Obesity
Obese women are likely to experience the delay in their periods because of their condition. The overweight people experience late periods due to a lot of fats and hormonal changes in their bodies. It's advisable to it a balanced diet and doing a lot of exercises. Women who are obese are advised to take the necessary measures to remedy the same as soon as possible.
4. The birth control
The birth control especially the pills causes late periods. They contain the estrogen and progestin hormones. It leads to blockage of ovaries from releasing the eggs. Some of the pills pile in the fallopian tube hence late periods. The implant and the injection change the eating habits like loss of appetite leading to loss of weight.
