Hormonal imbalance: The changes in the hormonal level can cause the vagina to become dry over time.  The decrease in the hormone estrogen during perimenopause and menopause can lower your level of the hormone thus making it hard to become wet when it comes to sex. Other causes include chemotherapy treatment, breastfeeding, and childbirth complications just to name a few of them.

2. Medications: There are different medications you might be taking that can cause this problem. The issue can be solved by seeking medical care from a professional doctor. Never use any medication until you find out whether it has side effects or not. 

3. Lack of connection during sex: You will not become wet if your body is connected with your mind during sex. There are different causes for this including stress. You should focus your mind on the act for ultimate pleasure.  

4. Guilt:  Are you okay making love to him? A feeling of guilt can make the sex session less attractive. Your mind needs to be free if you want to enjoy the moment. Make sure you are settled before making love to him.  Talk to your partner about the feeling so that you can get over it.
