Police in Yatta have arrested 3 men and a woman suspected to be involved in carjacking on Thika – Matuu – Garissa Highway.

Area OCPD Edward Changach confirmed the arrests on Thursday and said the 4 are among the group that has been terrorizing residents and motorists.

“The suspects are part of the people who have been stealing from traders at Kithioko market. They are in custody helping police to name other suspects,” he said.

The OCPD added that the suspects will be taken to court once police complete investigations. 

“The suspects will be arraigned in court immediately investigations will be complete. Criminals should surrender to police before we catch up with them,” he said.
